FineReader Pro: PDF Scanner App Reviews

As a college student I often need to scan documents, paper, reports, and an abundance of other things to send to other students as well as teachers. One problem with this is that my printers scanner is horrible and inconvenient. I found this app after a free app group called AppGratis advertised the free version (which is phenomenal), and I bought this version when that group dropped the price to $1.99. This app is absolutely worth the money and I HIGHLY recommend it for individuals who frequently need to scan things. This is hands down the most efficient way to do it.

Really love this app. Use it every day. One small gripe. If you OCR a text it should be possible to quickly send to the clipboard, which just happens to be the main way I grab OCR text. As it is you have to manually select and copy - a 3 or 4 step process. Still this is an excellent app. Buy it.

When I got laid off and was job hunting, along with transferring my work visa, Fine Scanner was always there to scan my vital documents and have them emailed ASAP. Lifesaver app! Easily 5/5!!

I have compared several scanner apps, this is the best!

OCR capabilities are good and export options are great! However, I am unable to open or import a file (PDF, JPG, etc.) from another app or even online service (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Etc.) this is a huge gap as you are only able to scan and OCR a document that you take a picture of, not one that was previously scanned.

Easy to use and nice interface.

I only wish it would be possible to take the photo with autofocus, and the user will be able to chose this form or pressing the central circle.

Best scanner app Ive ever had!!

Im a big fan of the desktop ABBYY FineReader, so tried this mobile version. The operations and workflow are smooth. The results are good. This would be a 5-star review if (a) the cloud services included OneDrive, and OneDrive for Business, and custom WebDAV (all of which are supported by competitive products) and (b) the app feedback link from the App Store didnt result in a 404 error.

I rely on the desktop Finereader which is amazing. This is solid but not quite there yet. Crashes a bit. And please, add your Indonesian language OCR. Its why I bought Finereader; it is something that evil Acrobat does not have.

Still missing automatic export to Evernote. Even if scannable has less features, I still prefer it over finescanner, since scannable is just way faster and working autonomously. Automatic export would be the killer feature!!!!
